BRIDAL FAQ'S
You may have some questions and I am here to answer them : )
When should I book & how do I do it? WEDDINGS are on average booked anywhere between 12-18 months in advance! By waiting, this can allow others to book your date first. I only take one wedding per date so this runs on a first come first serve basis. To book, a bridal contract must be signed and a 50% non-refundable retainer must be obtained. If both are not received, your date is not secured by me.
Do I need to finalized the number of services before booking? Yes, I do require that the amount of services are finalized. This is purely due to the fact that any last minute changes in timing or people can alter whether or not I need a secondary artist. I hire artists that I know and trust who tend to get booked fairly quickly. I do not want to run the risk of not being able to secure them in time or have to let them go if their services are not needed come wedding day.
*FOR WEDDINGS OUTSIDE BARCELONA I REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 6 SERVICES TO BOOK OR RATE EQUIVALENT*
Can I schedule a bridal preview before booking? Yes, I am confident that we will solidify a makeup look that you are 100% happy with! Previews take place 1-2 months before the wedding date. This may seem too late, but A LOT of things can change if they are done any sooner (ex: hair color, self-tanner, makeup vision, etc.) The closer this is to the actual wedding, the fresher it will be in both our minds. The previews will take place at studio in Barcelona, or at your place/ hotel.. I will reach out to you when it’s time to get it scheduled!
What are the travel fees for on-site services? I can travel anywhere you need me too : ) Travel is complimentary anywhere within Central Barcelona IN. Once outside of the city limits, there will be a charge of 1.5euros per km round trip.
Does anyone need to provide their own products? Can they if they want to? You are paying me for my expertise, product knowledge, and the products that I use in my hair and makeup kit. I do not require anyone to bring anything : ) For liability reasons, I can only apply the things that I personally have inside of my kit. I do not know how your personal makeup or hair styling has been used previously or how it layers with the products that I have. If you would like to use specific products, I will ask you to apply those yourself.
How long does each application take? Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling applications take around 1.5 hours each while the other applications will take 50min. The more bold the makeup, the longer it will take. These time frames also account for clean up time and re-setting up between the applications.
If your bridal party is over 6 services, I require an additional artist. This will not only let you get some more beauty sleep in the morning, but will also ease both our minds to make sure all the applications get done on time 🙂
Do you offer airbrush makeup? No, I only offer traditional makeup. Here’s why! Airbrush is just another method of application such as a brush or a sponge. It tends to be more of a one-size fits fits all products which does not exist. Makeup should be customizable! This is why I prefer the traditional liquid foundations to curate a look that is perfect for you and your preferences 🙂
Do you the services include false lashes? Lashes are included for EVERYONE! They enhance the eyes SO much and photograph beautifully as well 🙂 The cost will not be adjusted if someone chooses not to have lashes. Most often after seeing other people’s gorgeous lashes, that person will want them too!
